I've had this chip for a while so I know it will do 2.1ghz without breaking a sweat..... but the max multiplier that it will take is 13 I believe....

Since my RAM wont go over 133 (Tried OC'ing, it just hates anything faster), I can;t get the processor speed above stock. Is there some way to get the Multiplier to go up to 14,15,16,17 etc on this board, or do I need to cut, or connect some bridgest.


It's been a while since I've had to do any chip modifications, got spoiled by fast ram, and easy boards.

There is a wire pin mod in the cpu forum if you do a search for it....Just be in last week or so...If the board bios does not suport it it may be useless...

without stepping info, for all you know 2.1ghz is the max it'll hit.

Dump the RAM - 256MB of RAM is very little these days. Pick up at least 512MB of some PC3200 stuff.
