<< so what's the best bang for the buck? handsrings or palms? >>

Handspring Visor Deluxe or Palm IIIxe.

Palm VIIx - looks good with pseudo wireless but super ripoff
Palm VII - looks good with pseudo wireless but short on memory and a super ripoff
Palm IIIc - has colour but eats batteries and is a ripoff
Palm Vx - looks good but still a ripoff (but i like 'em ;))
Palm V - short on memory and a ripoff
Palm IIIx - reasonable compromise but I'm not sure it's still available
Palm IIIe - short on memory
Visor (non-Deluxe) - short on memory
Visor Solo - short on memory and no cradle
Other - forget about 'em.

And last AND least - all PocketPC machines - EXTREMELY expensive for OK functionality

Edit: Oops! Forgot to include the M100. Well it's short on memory. (2 Mb only)

What about Palm m100? Great price for great functionality, performance, outlooking and personal feelings.

m100 replaced the palm 3e. it has a smaller screen and looks retarded. I've got a 3e and well 2mb is plenty. why would you want to overclock a palm? it'll just lower your battery life. Iknow a lot of people underclock them to get more batteries.

Has anyone actually seen a Palm100? Might as well make it a watch PDA.. the screen is so small I wouldn't bother with it.
