I installed the new beta driver (337.12) Corrected typo on driver version

Option "Coolbits" "8" enables overclocking
Option "Coolbits" "12" enables overclocking and manual fan control

Execute the command below to add "Coolbits" "12" to your xorg.conf file.

sudo nvidia-xconfig --cool-bits=12

EDIT: Reboot

It all seems to work for my 780Ti. 🙂

:awe: I'm gonna have to try that. But I'm thinking I should implement my latest double-checking in PrimeGrid PPS Sieve first.

I need more data. I'll keep it at "stock" settings for now to see if there are driver version differences. Then I'll try some overclocking. Spring is here so my GPU and system temps have gone up so I may have to underclock soon.

Underclocking may be more useful for Primegrid and GPUGrid but I should be able to overclock for FAH later this year.

It's just nice to finally have the option in linux.
