Whats with that? Does it need more volts, or is whatever lets the core talk to one another failing? Temps are OK-- upper 50s.

Any ideas?

Perhaps the heat from both cores is a bit too much for your cpu cooler?

Do you have a cold garage you can try it in?
 
You might need more voltage. You haven't given enough info to narrow down the problem.
