I am attempting to overclock my 754 clawhammer 2800+, but am finding too many unknow terms.

HTT?
HTT Voltage
Nforce 3 voltage
?

I have a Abit NF8 mobo and cant seem to find a memory divider. Also, i am upping the fsb and

the cpuz shows that the mmory is running at 225 (doubt itll do for long as its value ram by kingston pc 3200). I cant buy faster memory, and I need a solution. Anyone?

if no one with experience with that motherboard drops by drop down to the motherboards forum and the via chipset forum
also amd zone abit forum and other motherboard specific forums

yes you do not want to stay at 220 if your pci/agp is unlocked
you are also going to want to set your hypertransport to 3x
and
your memory divider
do all of these things before you start oc'ing
and you have backed up your hard drive- right
and have a bios on a floppy
etc
do not worry about your voltages for now
just pushiing your htt can permanently corrrupt (not ruin) your hard drive and/or give you bsod
do you know how to clear your bios?
you do not need faster memory- you need to configure what you have

1. No, there is a agp lock, thats not an issue,
2. Thats the thing, there is no memory divider in bios,
Hdd is backed up, no problem
Bios on a floppy? No need, there is that abit, one click update in windows. Worked well for me so far.
Yes i do know how to clear it.

Id love to configure it, but i would require additional assistence. Is there a windows based utilityu (like nvidia overclock or some such thing) that will enable me to put a multiplier?

no software OC utilies as far as I know have a Mem divider in them...an updated BIOS might have that option...otherwise, buy some fast RAM :)

there has to be a memory divider setting somewhere
get to the motherboard forums and post there
then come back and tell us what you found
