Overclocking -- Best Heatsink Fan Combo for AMD3000+ 939 Socket

Hi -- Just bought my entire system ... and have one last item left. What is the best aircooled based solution for me to use to overclock an AMD Athlon 3000+ Socket 939 CPU on an EPOX 9NPA+Ultra MoBo. I looked at the items shown below and it seems nice based on posts here -- but seems priced pretty high at NewEgg. Is there anything better out there in terms of price or as far as a solution goes that you'd recommend instead.

CPU HSF: XP-90 - $ 43 with Panaflo 92mm Fan - $ 15
Thermal Compound: Arctic Silver 5 - $ 8

Any better Heatsink or better fan ? I assume the thermal compound choosen is the right one.

Stick with the stock heatsink and fan - they work just fine and no thermal paste required.

Get the XP-90 and Panaflo. They'll keep your CPU nice and cool.

I was thinking of getting that same setup but i'm gonna keep my stock setup for a while but I was looking here. http://www.frozencpu.com/ Its on the other side of town for me so I could just pick it up. Not sure how much they'll charge you for shipping though.

You can get the heatsink and fans a lot cheaper from svc.com or jab-tech.com.. both have great reputation around here.

I've recently upgraded to 3000+ venice, (bfg oc) 6600GT and msi neo4 platinum/sli
would the xp-90 fit on the neo4 board? seems like it wont cuz theres things sticking out beside the cpu socket.

oh and for more info, i use the antec sonata II case. they have this black tunnel thingy to take hot air from the cpu out the case. The heatsink, being so big, wouldnt fit in under the tunnel. Or i might be making a big mistake, b/c i'm just guessing it based on my visual observation :x

i assume, though even with the thermal pad i put a little silver on the IHS

I don't think thats a good idea either. Just like they say if you use to much arctic silver you'll actually hurt your temps, I'd think puting paste on top of the pad would actually start to insulate the heat.

The Big Typhoon or A Hyper from Coolermaster are great. Just change the fan to a 3 pin, and ull get great results.
