Overclocking benchmarks.............

This probably belongs in the applications and programs forum but I would like to know the opinions of overclockers which hang out here mostly. After overclocking my P4T533-C with a P4533 2.26 of course I ran hours of Prime 95, looped 3D Mark 2001 and CPU burn in from Sandra and everything is super stable with no errors and good temps. On asus.com I read about the Super PI program and tried it at the 32M setting and it errored out half way through the test. Of course knocking down the fsb one notch and I was even super stable and passed the 32M test also. I was wondering what everyone thinks about this program as an overclocking testing program. It takes about an hour to run the 32M test.

Have no experience with it but may download it and try....

I run all my prime95 test at final speed I settle on for 12 hours minimum...It is likley you could have failed at prime95 as well...I have seen errors after 1 hours...

3mark while good nowhere gets my cpu as hot and introduces other factors which can make troubleshooting more difficult....I use it more for vid card stability. Since I run agp lock I should have no issues at any speed, and so I run it for 10 loops max...

Sissoft...crap program!!! IMO...I have seen this thing run for a long time and could error out in prime in 15min....I don't trust it as a good stability program...

I downloaded Super PI the other day after reading about it in another thread somewhere and I can run it at the 32M setting no problem. In fact I am running it as I type this. Prime 95 makes my CPU a little hotter than Super Pi does.

i was able to run all tests except for that last one.
(my system is 10+ hours prime95 stable)

it just pops up a msg windows with garbled letters.
