I just built a new system with an Athlon X2 3800+ and the following other parts:

DFI UT Ultra-D nF4 Motherboard
2x1GB Corsair DDR400
GeForce 7900GT
GeForce 7600GT
Antec TruePower II 550W PSU

This is the first time I have overclocked, and I am able to get the system to boot *and be stable* at 2.4GHz, but only by lowering the memory speed to 180MHz from 200. I believe that the memory is the bottleneck preventing me from going higher.

Temps: 35C idle/43C load with stock cooling

It seems that the temperatures leave me a bit of room to go higher on the CPU, however, I am not sure what to do with the memory. The only settings I have tweaked are:

CPU FSB: Changed to 240
Memory Voltage: Changed to 2.9v

Is there anything else I can do? Thanks!
