I just got a GeForce3 Ti200 and I want to overclock it. I dont expect to hit Ti500 clock speeds, but Id like to move up a good bit from stock. From the stock 175 I was hoping to get the core to 220 or so and the RAM, from stock 400 to around 450(but id perfer to be closer to 475). What kind of cooling am I going to need? Am in in water cooling range? Or are there good enough conventional coolers? Any suggestions, tips, links?
thanks,
-doug

You can reach those speeds with stock cooling. Just get an overclocking program and try it.

What kind of cooling would be needed to near the ti500's 240/500?

nvMax is presently down for site revision. A new version is due for release when they are back online.

You can also do a web search for the 3.0 version . . .

<< Luck is really what's needed, not cooling. >>

That is correct. However, if you find out what speed the memory is rated at (In nanoseconds) before you choose which card you want, you can increase your chances of getting memory that overclocks well.
