I just ordered my new heatsink (Thermalright SLK 900A) so I am finally ready to do some OCing. But i am currious, what are some good expectations. How fast can I get this thing going? I guess I am curious, what are the limitations of this chip? Also I have a gigabyte mobo, and Easytune 4 is the software denoted to oc. What is the best way to do all this...up the FSB, or the multiplyer? Can you tell I am new to this...
Any Help is greatly appreciated :p

You're kidding?

As far as the OC is concerned, go in the bios and slowly raise the FSB until it wont boot anymore, then try raising the vcore and/or vdimm and raise the FSB a little more. How can you stand listening to that noisy tornado fan?

Panaflo makes a really nice 92mm 30dB fan, and the Vantec Stealth is around 20dB w/ decent airflow. I use a SLK800a w/ Panaflo 80mm 21dB fan on my 2500+ @ 2.5GHz (~3600+?)

How else are you going to get a 37 or 38C temp while running a Barton at 100% load at 2.5ghz?:D
