overclocking 6800gt

I recently purchased a pny 6800gt 256 mb and was wondering about overclocking it, should I,what would be my gains,would I need extra cooling,or should I just leave it at default? I online game alot,Halflife2,call of duty,and medal of honor. I have a P4 3.2 oc'd to 3.5, asus p4c800e delux mobo, 1.5 gig of pc3200 ddr,and 6800gt.
