overclocking 366a

I have an abit bp6 mb i have been overclocking dual celerons to 550 and running win 98 se i wanted to get the most out of my machine so i switched to win2k pro i did not see the big performance gains. Then all hell broke lose while installing win2k pro it took several installs for it to work right. then i tried to install win me that installed but now i cant overclock every time i do the win sys files become corrupt and i have to re-install anyone else having this problem??? I ran the dual celery for almost a year overclocked now nothing....what gives?..........HELP
