Alright, well considering I'm a complete noob to overclocking video cards (can do CPU's though
), I basically decided to just utilize the Nvidia Forceware drivers. I went into the Nvidia Driver display, clicked on "Clock Frequency Settings" selected "Performance 3D", and just clicked on Detect Optimal Frequencies. The drivers automatically overclocked my 7800GT to:
490 Mhz Core Clock Frequency
1.18 Ghz Memory Clock Frequency
Now, thats fine and dandy all, since I'm finally making use of the Arctic Cooling NV Silencer that I purchased and installed recently, but when playing games, I experience these small...glitches. I have no idea what they are called, but basically imagine when you move around in-game, these small white jagged lines protrude on your screen, on and off, on and off. Are these called artifacts? To correct it, what should I do?
