Overclockable RAM Recommendation needed

Hi guys , I need some recommendation on Ram.

I am buying a AMD X2 3800 CPU + and i need 1GB of Ram that can be overclocked with a problem + performance should be great. I willing to spend $250 for good ram as long as it does give me a performance boost in my games. I am planning on buying a DFI LAN PARTY SLI-DR motherboard or the new ATI/ULI motherboard since they are great for overclocking. so what Ram should i buy ??? 🙂

OCZ PC3200 EL or another brand that has TCCD chips and guarantees 2-2-2 timings. OCZ is recommended by DFI as pretty much the safest kind of memory you can use on their boards.

I'm using some of OCZ's PC4800 stuff (TCC5 chips) and it works like a charm on my DFI LanParty UT Ultra-D.

I would recommend the OCZ PC3200 platinum Rev 2 (2x512), the range from the default 200Mhz DDR400, upto (memory controllers and motherboard permitting) 300Mhz DDR600, and they hold some excellent timings at high OC's aswell.. Perfect if you want to use the voltage supplied by your motherboard, unlike OCZ VX requiring over 3.2V for anything decent.

I have some Mushkin PC4400 TCCDs on Brainpower that run at any setting from 2-2-2-5 at 200mhz to 3-3-3-8 at 300mhz. I think they are on sale this week at Newegg for around $180.
