I have one of the Andara/Micron systems that was cheap at Overstock.com a while ago. I had a 600 Mhz Duron sitting around that I dropped in. Well, the urge for more speed has hit. Since this motherboard isn't designed for overclocking I'd need to do the cut/paste job on the CPU and take it up to 800 or higher.

This motherboard is good for 1Ghz Socket A only.

Or, given the price of cpu's, maybe I should just take $35-45 and get a new one (that'd get me a 900 Duron, or maybe an Athlon...)

decisions, decisions...

I'd say overclock it, if you fry it, you can always get a new one, which you'd be doing anyway.
