Yea, i got to wonder if I did it with all the overclocking or the board had an problem to begin with. With all the troubles with this board and memory i believe it's the board. :)

Sniper,

I dont think this is a vista problem. I had the same problem with xp. Its the p35c board. I am running my new p45 and the clunk has gone away. I think the C version has always been a problem. I believe it stems from having problems with power issues/circuitry of ddr2/ddr3.

Hi folks. I´m pretty new here and Im having the same problem.
FSB setting is ignored (but no the multiplier). I´ve been using my Q6600 overclocked at 3.2 (400X8) for the last 6 months.
Does anyone solved the problem?

Thanks for the help and sorry for the english. ;)
