overclock on a slot 1 adapter?

I have an asus P2B Mobo and a celeron 533 in a generic slotkit.
I overclocked my old 300a for a while but don't know if I have to take special measures b/c of the slot adapter?
can it be done?
thanks,

Seth

If its just a plain slocket no special measures are needed 🙂.
BTW which Celeron 533 do you have? there are 2 types the 0.25(mendicino) core & the 0.18(coppermine) core.
The 0.25 version won't overclock by much at all

like the man said no measures if it is a 533A, but if it is a cumine then you need a slotket that is capable, and the p2b needs to be a later revision - all 1.12 and some 1.10 revision boards support cumines.
