looks like the BIOS fixed it. I restarted my comp a few times and it loaded without any problems. Now, how do I make sure that everything is running smoothly? Is ASUS Probe be enough? My temps are pretty good...hovering around 40C atm.

You can test your system stability by running Prime95 torture test, Its downloadable free from several places, Google for it.

I tried the NV port with no driver updates, then with drivers on the mobo disk, and the ones on Nvida and Asus websites with no luck. Once I got the Marvel port to work (first or second day), I haven't messed with it. It may have something to do with the type cable modem I have (Motorola surfboard). I've also read of people having problems with the NV port and US Robotics cable modem.

Interestly enough, the Active Armor firewall features work perfectly through the Marvel port as long as you leave the NV port enabled in bios.

well this OC didn't last long. I turned it on just now to run Prime95 while i'm at school, and first got "Cpu Fan Fail" and then the usual "Boot Error".

What. The. ****!!
