Overclock = drive error?

Anyone know why it is that if I have the voltage set on "Auto" in the BIOS I will get a drive read error during bootup, yet if I set the voltage to 1.85 it will bootup fine?

(This is when I put the BIOS to speeds like 7.0 x 143 or 7.5 x 133)

I'm confusered. 🙁

It appears that you processor cannot handle being overclocked to the speeds that you have set it to at the default voltage, and needs more power to get to your overclocked speed. Having a processor that cannot handle the speed can cause all sorts of strange problems, including the error that you have received.

No big deal....just set the voltage and if everything is OK, then just leave it at that.
