Hello again,

Why can't I overclock my PIII 700MHz on ASUS P3V4X(bios 1005) using Windows 2000 Pro, with 256PC100 SDRAM, I used to run Windows 98SE and no problems on overclocking. On Win98, all I did was change the FSB, and there you go, I tried, 112, etc..(always scared of overclocking so I never go that far.

Now I want to do it again on Windows 2000 Pro but with no luck at all, ....... can someone help me out please...........

Also, I downloaded the latest driver from nVidia (detonator driver 6.31 ) hoping to upgrade the drivers of my ASUS V6800 DDR SGRAM GeForce, but to no luck at all, no problems on applications except for Unreal T, all I get is black screen, I can only hear the sounds but you can't see a thing, so I went to my old ASUS drivers, I just want to see if its' any better or there's a performance change of my internet connections ( a little slower ) Yes, I have cox cable and settings are correct....

Thanks.

Mike

what kind of error's do you get overclocking in win2k?

also, when updating drivers, uninstall the current drivers, reboot as standard vga controller, then install the new drivers.
