Ok, I just got everything up and running and figured I would shared my benchmark/overclock results.
A Quick note about my temps in CoreCenter. The NEO2 seems to have a bios/board flaw that causes the temps to be read wrong.....really wrong. However, I believe the CPU temp is really my PSU reading, and my system temp reading is really my CPU temp.
System Specs with pricing:
$100 - Antec PlusView1000AMG SOHO
$150 - Antec NeoPower 480W PSU
$140 - MSI NEO2 Platinum
$841 - AMD FX-55
$248 - Corsair 1GB 3200XLPT
$350 - ATI X800 PRO
$200 - SB Audigy ZS Platinum
$70 - NEC 3500A DVD burner
$75 - Seagate SATA 80GB
$90 - Seagate ATA 120GB
$300 - ViewSonic P95F+
$350 - Klipsch Promedia 5.1 Ultra
$140 - Logitech Cordless Desktop MX
$195 - DangerDen TDX waterblock, MAZE4 waterblock, Heatercore, 20FT Tygon 3603 Tubing.
I think that is everything....Now for the benchs.
Current settings:
12x236 - 2830Mhz
Ram @ 2.5-3-3-6
ATI X800 Pro @ 551/551
AA/AF set to App control
Sandra-Arithmetic
Sandra-Multi-Media
Sandra-MemTest
AMD N-Bench 3.1
AquaMark3
3DMark 2001
3DMark 2003
3DMark 2005
I would like to point out that my ram can run at 2-3-3-6 at 236Mhz, however Super PI and 3Dmark 2005 much give errors/crash but all others run without a problem. Any ideas why that is?
I really haven't tweaked anything yet like my video settings. I also need to play around more with how fast I can get my chip to go. Since my res and heatercore are outside I should have no problems getting to 3-3.1Ghz. Once I nstall HL2 I'll add what there stress test gives me.
So what do all think? Do my scores look about avg? Above avg? Any suggestions on how I can get more out of it? And what is up with my ram @ CAS2 causing only Super Pi and 3dmark 05 to crash?
