Overall, are you happy?

Nope. I'm mostly down and depressed. I wished I would've done soooo many things differently, and that keeps me down.

It may seem otherwise when I'm on forums because I'll usually repsond to threads that annoy me.

hmm If you ask my friends and family, they would all say I am happy.
I really should be happy. My life is normal. But I am a hater lately and every little thing annoys the hec out of me. I don't know what I am, but it's not happy.

Yes... why? cause all my family are in reasonably good health... I'm not rich, but we have enough to live on... two beautiful children, and a wife that cooks better than almost any restuarant I can think of....

More often then not. But all my headaches come from things I've done. So I deserve em all. That's what Advil was invented for though.

Not really. I just got fired today for being late one too many times.

I have to find a job that pays good real soon or my world is screwed.

I'm not depressed though. I rarely get super-depressed, I just have this default, dumb, numb state of nothingness.

I basically feel empty a lot.

I used to not be like that but I realized that I needed to quit wanting stuff that I didn't have. I have learned to be content with what I have.

At the moment yes. I have a steady job and have been saving up my target amount. I also have a gf that helps to keep me sane.

Well said, kranky. You can choose to be unhappy if you want because you can never have as much as the next guy. The reality is that you are where you choose to be whether you know it or not.

whenever i'm feeling unhappy i just realize that a lot of people have it worse than i do, and move on.

overall, I'm happy. However, these days I'm overwhelmed with all the stuff I have to do in the next month. I'm basically building an apartment from the concrete floors up. I'm only 20% there and will be out of town one week this month...I'm shooting for August 1 to be finished.

Overall yes, all the time? no.

I guess I'm just happy that I don't have it as bad as a lot of people do out there, working at a large hospital in Miami is a pretty constant reminder of this, especially when I'm going through the trauma/E.R. areas.
