Over-the-hill geek test: PCBoard & Tradewars

Who here is old enough to remember these, have played them, or worse, actually run one? 😀

*raises hand*

I liked PC Board the best, was a pain sometimes to admin, but it was powerful and could do lots of cool stuff without too much work.

Tradewars was the best, way too many hours wasted on that game. 🙂

I played one that was called "NetRunner" I think, as well as some others. I recall trying TradeWars, but I can't remember if I played it regularly or not.

Tradewars owned. My cousin ran a BBS a couple years ago that had Tradewars on it. Me and him had everything built up. Killer ship, mobile planet. Awesome game. Anyone know of any BBS's that have it?

I can one, but went with Remote Access, then Iniquity after. I'm by no means over-the-hill at 22. I ran the bbs when I was about 13. It was called "Insane Asylum" and was fairly popular locally for a while.
