I just finished building my new computer. I went with the Antec Performance One p160. So far it has been a great case. My question is what is a dangerous heat for my computer. It has a built in thermometer and when i play farcry and halflife 2 the temp goes up. Ussually it is in the 86 to 88 range. But for extended play time it some times goes to 94. Is this a dangerous temp? How hot is to hot and at what point should i let my computer cool off. Aslo if any one has this case were is a good spot to keep the thermometer in the case. I dont think so... but maybe my thermometer is in the wrong place. Oh yeah... al answers in Farenheight please. Thanks for your time.

Generally you don't want to let the amibient (temperature of surrounding air around components, not components themselves) get above 100... thats when you KNOW your components are even hotter than the air around them. Try adding larger (120 or 90mm) fans or more of them... I don't see whats the big deal with people not liking large fans... larger fans can push out more cubic feet of air per minute (The CFM rating) AND can do it at lower RPMs. I like larger fans for the soft whiirrr sound compared to the buzz generated by tiny fans. Just preference I guess...
