Over Clocking a new system

Hey, i just bought a new system just waiting for my motherboard to arrive, but i have never overclocked before and any links to a guide or and basic outline or help would be greatly appreciated.
My system is as follows :
Amd 3500+ 90nm
1 gig (2x 512) Corrsiar pc3200xms ram
1 bfg 6800 gt OC (picking up another one soon)
dfi lan party nf4 sli-dr
some crappy 120gb sata 7200 rpm
My case is a koolance watercool system (pc2650)

Zebo's guide is probably the best for a beginner, but if you have any more questions read through the overclocking sticky.
