I notice the free after rebate software is listed as minimum of one per title per store. That's better than my local store usually has on their MIR software!

Ground shipping is coming up free when you choose it as your option in the shopping cart, even though they weren't advertising a "free shipping" promo as far as I know. Save yourself a trip and order online with free delivery.

No, I didnt get a confirmation email. The shipping offer looked intentional once I got to that option on the shopping cart, not like a mistake - I think it said "Free Ground Shipping!" or something like that when I chose it. But no, I didn't get a confirmation email afterwards. (On either of 2 separate orders I placed.) On the other hand, after placing the orders it displayed a confirmation page to print out, and it charged my credit card right then and there and listed the approval number. It also said that I would receive a confirmation email when my order shipped (which obviously is not now, 2 am Sun morning). So I don't suspect to have any problems. All looked legit to me, with the possible exception of the lack of a confirmation email.

HawkeyeNJ said "Yes allisolm pick it out. And wins a FREE 50lb bag of potting soil. Which will be sent via next day email".

Golly I sure am sorry that my email isn't configured to receive messages containing potting soil. 😀 Thanks anyway for the win. Now I'm off to get some of the "free" stuff from today's ads.

hmm,
try to get Actiontec 1394 PCI Firewire Card, the ads says free after rebate, but the site is still 79.99 didn't takeoff $20 instant rebate, guess I have go to the Store to buy one.

STI CDr 50PK STI-CDR50 $19.99 -$19.99 CC MIR 650MB

FREE IS GOOD-- 3 FREE IS EVEN BETTER

STI MIR "Limit 3 rebate(s) per-Person, household
Time to stock up on some cheap cdr's.

Just a note of caution about STI rebates from Circuit City. I have four outstanding -- the oldest from December 20 -- that have not come in. The most recent one is dated February 11 so it may or may not still come in -- but this is enough to cause me to be wary of STI/CC rebates.

<<FYI cant see any of the big scans, and so i cant read it example page 15>>

Thanks for pointing that out.. there are still some bugs we are working out with the new host and the big page uploads got cut off at 13. We will try to upload the rest asap.

Free ground shipping offer now "official," now mentioned on homepage, good all week.

Thought I mentioned it here too. The firewire card is not available at CircuitCity.com. Better raid those B&M!!

I tried to pick up the Seventeen Style Studio program at my local CC for my daughter today. They did not have any of the sale software as usual, and the guys in the computer supplies department (where they have a grand total of 6 pieces of software, most of it Norton Antivirus) told me they never get the sale stuff. I had them page the manager, and after ignoring 3 pages, I found him on the floor talking to another employee. He said they don't carry software. Never mind that the ad said "minimum of one piece of store". I am going to go after them on this, not sure if I will just complain at their web site or call my local department of consumer affairs. The page does say further down that software is available at most stores, but I would think that the "minimum of one piece of location" overrides the other wording.

What I don't understand is why they don't carry software here. The nearest CompUSA or Best Buy is a half hour away, and the only real competition for software is OfficeMax and WalMart. Bizarre.
