The back panel is all scratched up, there are a few nicks in the enamel and the drip pans for the burners look horrible. Basically, the previous owner trashed this stove so it's going away this week. I'd rather buy a new one than put money into keeping this one going.
Yeah, when ours went out I comtemplated replacing ours too. It's a kenmoore and doesn't have the sealed burners, and the wife really wants a new stove. But since the repair was minimal, I talked myself out of it. maybe if it goes out again, I'll replace it.
