In the long run, the remote order centers will be based in third world countries like China and India. The cooks will be on location, while the ordering process will be done with computers and cameras, much like it is currently done, on location, with closed circuit TV.

I see this as a good thing but ONLY IF the person you're ordering from is intelligable! I swear you goto some drive-thrus and you have to say huh, what........ can you repeat that? No I said Big Mac/no onion!

Oh man if this is outsourced to say........ Japan........ I say Fries! not FLIES!!!!!! No, rettuce on mcgliddle **LOL**

And? In my area that would be a good thing since the fast food places are staffed by Mexicans who barely speak english. It is not like these are the jobs the high school students have anymore.....none of them will take these jobs. If these jobs go away maybe the Mexicans won't be so inclined to swim the river.
