She helped enable, just wanted to be sure I captured that nugget. Wow.... I think you are onto something Paratus.
Holy shit. Enabled the rapist because she chose to get blitzed drunk. Holy fuck...

Quote me all you want. If she hadn't been drunk she could have defended herself. I will show much less sympathy to you when you get robbed, raped, killed, or whatever else because you CHOSE to get passed out drunk. You don't get a pass because it was rape instead of another crime.

Is there anything at all a woman could do to lower her risk of rape? If there is then there is things she can do to increase her risk. Pretty straightforward logic.

While nobody ever deserves to get raped going to a party and getting unconsciously drunk probably increases the odds of it happening to you.

We say to people who get thrown from their car because they didn't wear a seat belt that they should have been wearing one but we can't say anything to this young lady who got passed out drunk and ended up getting raped. She didn't cause the rape but she acted stupidly by getting so blew out at a frat party.

got it, so it's 1% her fault, is that what you're saying? Maybe 3%?? Cause you're clearly putting some level of blame on her, no matter how fucked up and stupid that is, you're doing it, right?
No seat belt by choice, get in an accident you're responsible if the belt could have helped.
Get blackout drunk at a party at a frathouse, you should expect to be sexually assaulted.
Good to know where your heads at.

Just testing her level of outrage for rape allegations. Doesn't seem to care about this one though.

How could I care about it if the alleged rape happened before I was conceived and the accusation was made while I was still wearing pajamas and watching cartoons? I was still in Elementary school.

It isn't "fault" it is doing things to increase or decrease your risk of rape. And you shouldn't expect to get raped if you get blown out drunk and pass out. That is ridiculous.

If being not unconscious could help prevent your rape then being unconscious drunk reduces the likelihood.

I know you like to deal with black and white and this may be too nuanced for you so take your time to think about what I'm saying.

Not by choice but she did help enable the person who did make that choice by getting unconscious drunk. If you want to call that "rape culture" then have at. Your personal responsibility doesn't suddenly become moot just because you call it 'victim blaming.'

How fucking sad is it that you blame her for her sexual assault saying that she "enabled" Brock and that she should have had a better sense of personal responsibility....but you don't seem to place any of the blame or responsibility on him....he told the cops that he was "just trying" to hook up with a girl. (source)

That is literally the definition of victim blaming and its a slippery slope statement. Where do we stop? If this is your stance, victims of other types of crime also "enabled" their attackers and should have been more responsible.

Then your outrage of this case is phony. This was my point in bringing it up. You only care about certain rapes.

No, I'm saying that whether you are male or female or other, if you voluntarily put yourself in a state where you cannot assert your rights, defend yourself from victimization in any way, or even be conscious then you are to blame for putting yourself in that situation. The rapiat, murderer, robber, etc is still responsibile for their acts.

Basically if you absolve the victim of all responsibility then you are doing them a bad disservice. "Tell men not to rape" is a stupid propaganda slogan not a solution.

cut off all men's dicks, that's about it. what's your plan bucky?
If a man rapes a woman he is to blame, 100% but women can do things to help reduce the risk of rape. One of them is not going to a frat party and passing out from drinking too much.

Or do you think there isn't a thing a woman can do to reduce her risk of being raped? If there are then what are you blasting me for?

Liberals fall into this binary absurd thinking and don't even know it.

nope, hack.
I live in nuance, swim in subtlety, however in this case as with all rapes, it is always, 100% the perpetrator's actions that cause the rape. That's why rapists go to jail and their victims do not. They don't split the sentence between the perp and the victim, so no matter what, even if the woman is dressed like a porn star with the words "FUCK ME" written on her forehead, and she's passed out, you don't get a free pass.

Or morally outraged, perhaps. If those allegations are true and I have no idea, Clinton should be in prison.

I see little difference in him bringing up Clinton and you calling him a hack. Both have an origin in outrage.
If she didn't pour unjustified invective on waggy then I probably wouldn't have brought it up. It looks like her moral outrage is a fraud.

What part of "I was 9 years old" do you not understand? I literally did not know about this woman until you brought her up. I had to google to find out what you were on about. I was a fucking child when she came forward. How in the hell was I supposed to know about this? I was not watching the news at 9 years old. I was playing with dolls and watching cartoons.

You are really reaching with this "proof" of bias, dude. Maybe you should have asked me about a more recent case....something I was actually old enough to have heard about in the news.

I bet you think you look so clever right now. Pat yourself on the back!

Who cares how old you were? Juanita doesn't. Now you know about the case so you should show us how much against rape you really are but you won't because, sadly, you don't appear to be sincere.

Do you think there is anything a woman can do to reduce her risk of rape?

Can a woman reduce her risk of being raped, yes or no?

Well it appears as though they're pulling their legal reasoning behind some 18th century ideology
For a woman always possesses sufficient power, by the drawing back of her limbs, and the force of her hands, to prevent the insertion of the penis into her body.
