Dictionary.com says outputted is legit, but I just can't get used to saying it. It just sounds extremely weird.

well, let me give you the exact context here.

the website has a webmaster comment form. the data entered into the form is placed into an excel file, so it's not like it's in 1 files and is exported to another file or am i just being too literal here?
