Output Dynamic Range - NVIDIA Driver question

Why NVIDIA Output Dynamic Range is default to "Limited" in the NVIDIA Control Panel? Look at screenshot

Every time NVIDIA updates the driver I have to go back to NVIDIA Control Panel > Change Resolution > Output Dynamic Range > change to Full to get the best color quality

My question is why it keeps going back to Limited? Why is that the default setting after every driver update?

Thanks

Because of the EDID the display is sending to the card, the card believes it's connected to an HDTV and usually HDTVs display rec709 limited (16-235) video content.
