I know, I know, it's not SATA, but damn that's a great deal for a high-capacity 16MB cache drive. I've never had a problem with Seagate rebates, either
 
Got my Seagate rebate check in 5 weeks! Not bad. The weird thing is that the Seagate online rebate-tracking site says it hasn't received my paperwork yet. Oh well.
 
Nice deal. This is the 7200.8 model, which is 7% faster than the 7200.7 Plus. It's a little noisier than the 7200.7, but still very quiet for most users.
 
I just got my $50 rebate check from a few months ago, is this a new "offer"? I wouldn't mind getting a second drive, but only if it comes with a rebate.
 
yes, new offer with new $50 rebate. These are the 7200.8 drives with 16MB cache. Not as quiet as the older 7200.7 Plus. However, these drives are 5 to 7% faster than the 7200.7s.

This is a very good deal at 23 cents/GB (20 cents if you don't have to pay local sale tax)!

Wow, fantastic deal for about 3 hours. These guys must be learning from Monarch! Too bad I had to pay sale tax. Is NC, FL, and GA tax exempt?
 
It's good deal, Fry's seem to have them pretty often. I'm sure they gonna get something else comparable up again soon.
