This is the best priced 37" LCD HDTV I have found and if I read the specs right it includes both tuners and has full HD display capabilities.37" LCD HDTV

Edited to indicate price shwon on list of LCD HDTV's has also been changed frpm 1650 to 999.99

I may have to jump on this! Anyone know what the warranty is?

Thanks. I bought a Viore plasma at WM on BF and have been trying to get it serviced for 2 months. I may just take it back and order the Emprex since I am really getting tired of getting nowhere on the Viore's service.

Very tempting...AVSForums experiences are about what I'd expect, good for HD neophytes like me. I'm still holding out for a 37" 1080p LCD with HDCP at a price like this though....

I bought one when they were $1200. Returned it because I couldn't get a it's native res (1366x768) to work from my htpc or laptop (6600gt and radeon 9600). This was over the DVI > HDMI and VGA connections. For $1000, I probably would have kept it, my Xbox 360 looked great on it.

There's some good info on AVSForum for it in a specific Empres thread.

They've been on display for some time in Houston Fry's locations, but they're often hooked up to source material which doesn't show best performance. Of course with Fry's customer satisfaction policy, buyers can return if it's not good at home.

how well does this handle the 4:3 to 16:9 changes during commercials? My cable provider switches modes i guess and some tv's stretch and some correct and blink to the right format.

any ideas?

from what i'm reading it doesn't support HDCP over HDMI. not a smart move if you want to use this TV with anything other than pc/console
