Purchased a pair yesterday and another pair today for $40, this is a hell of a deal. Got to the Frys in Plano to still get these if you want them, I would also suggest calling the B &M and ask - its what I did.

The deal will be back within 2-3 months if Outpost follows the usual pattern.

To hook up the T-Amp to the PC you need a cable with the standard male headphone plug on each end. I think a cheapo one comes in the box so you don't need anything else. It's worth upgrading it to a bigger and better cable but no rush on that!

Yup, deal is on now. Shipping to WI is $10 and change, plus no tax. I added on the FAR $25 Ultra V 400W PSU for a total of $75 and change shipped before rebate.

Last time I checked, shipping to Seattle was a whopping $20. This is roughly 50% of the cost of the item! To stinking high. And I would also have to pay tax.

For shipping, Outpost defaults to 2nd day air when you go to check out. You have to manually select Ground shipping.

Why don't you call Fry's in Renton, WA?

Just got mine in yesterday. Got 1 pair for back surrounds with Rti6 as fronts, and got 2 pairs for the in-laws who are just starting to get a home theater setup. You can get better speakers, but not for this price!

Not that it really matters, but the center isn't from the same series as the bookshelf speakers. You'd get a better matching set by making a 6.0 set our of R15s.

Paired with a decent sub and of course something to power them, these should be significantly better than the logitech sets.

How decent, in terms of cash :p

I had the old version of the Dayton 10" sub, but I thought it was cleaner and sounded better than my old logitech sub (the 560 / 680 sub vs the 5500 sub).

Not quite as confident on the new Dayton budget subs, but

I guess it depends on what you want to do with it though. You should be able to get at least a comparable sub from Dayton, but if you're really looking for a significant upgrade then you might want to get something more robust depending on your room size. I'm just thinking you could replace your Logitechs with something not too expensive, but you might want to shoot higher to give you more of an improvement.
