Outlook XP address book problems

Anyone know how I can get the address book working properly for outlook?

I can add adresses just fine but when I go to the address book there are no entries. Contacts is simply blank and Outlook address book says "No entries in this address" any clues? I dont mind rebuilding my address book but I need it back
