I really can't stand some of my users... Anyway, is there any documentation that tells how long it should take a file to upload when attaching it to an email thru OWA. Say for instance a 2MB file? As you can guess. I have a high up user that complains about how long it takes when attaching large files with OWA

It completely depends on the internet connection they are using and the upload limits of that connection.

Is he accessing OWA from outside of the office? I'd blame the net connection. It should be snappy on a LAN.

Sorry. I meant if it was on the LAN. Some users need access to multiple machines & we don't want to set OL profiles up. Basically he tries to attach a file from the local machine.

Depends on the specs of the OWA machine, IE connectivity speed, any QoS on it, etc.. compared to the exchange server.

You can easily rule out OWA as the culprit if you attach to the same box, via outlook/IMAP client if it's enabled. Then switch to OWA and try to send the same file.
