Outlook w/o email??

I just got a Palm Treo 750wx. This phone requires that I use the Outlook on my PC to synchronize/backup my calendar, contacts, tasks, etc. This is fine. However, I don't use Outlook for email (I just installed it for the first time due to the phone) and don't intend to do so in future either. So here is the question - is it possible to either install Outlook w/o email functionality or disable the same in all respects and just use Outlook for Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Notes management?
 
Yes it is possible. Just don't configure it with any email accounts. You will still be able to manage your calendar/tasks/contacts with it.
