Outlook Syncing software

I have a customer who wants to sync his calendar, tasks and contacts to 3 other pcs in his office and (optionally) his home pc. He does not want to sync his email as it is confidential (he is a lawyer.) But he wants to sync his calendar, contacts, and tasks to his 3 secretarys pcs.

I looked at a few options and most seemed really expensive ($44/month +) anyone have any other software choices I should look into?

Outlook 2000 had some local synchronization abilities, but those were dropped with 2003. Outlook is designed for synchronization through an Exchange Server, which works very well. Hosted Exchange accounts start around $7 a month last time I checked. Each user can set what's shared and not shared with other accounts.
