Sorry I know this is not hardware, but nno one reads the software forum.

Anyways, I want to send an email to everyone in my Contacts list that is in a certain "category". Is this possible? How to do it?

Do you mean groups of emails? Only way I know is manually grouping them with the address book, file/new group option.

I have OE but it might work in Outlook too. Open a new email and right next to the field where you'd type in who you're sending it to there's an icon that will open up a window that lets you select any contacts from your address book and send the mail to them.

Might not work in outlook, but it's worth a shot.

Thanks Konichawa, but that didn't help. I too have that option to select people in my Contacts list and put them in the "TO:" field of a new message. But I have like 600 contacts.

I want to automatically send 1 email to everyone in the contacts list, that meets a certain criteria. The criteria is: every person that is in a specific category.

In you make a new Contact, there is an option to place a person in a specific category.

Geez I hate outlook :(

If you have that option...you can highlight the first one in "Business" and then hold SHIFT and then click the last contact in "Business" and it should select them all. Unless they're all unsorted...:Q

I think this may be pretty easy.
First display your contact list.
You can sort your contacts, go to view-> current view -> select "by catagory".
Now you should see a sorted list of all of your contacts. You can select the whole or parts of it by using the cntl or shift key, just like in Windows. Then click on the send message to contact button. All selected contacts will be on the address line.

Good luck.
