Outlook: Getting the "autofill" to work on email adresses...

Instead of having to type in an email address (that's not in a phonebook) each time I want to send, I'd assume there's a "switch" that allows the user to cache the "recently used" addresses so that when I start typing the email address, the address will "pop up" after I enter the first few characters of the address...

Can anyone help?

I think that you need to have the email addresses in your contacts, for the autofill thing to work.

autofill was missing from serveral versions of outlook....had it in outlook 98 and now its back in outlook 2003
