I have 2 accts setup on Outlook 97 so they check @ the same time
for example
sally and nick are the 2 accounts.
when you do 'send and recieve mail', it does it on both

is there anyway to make all mail adressed to sally go into a folder named sally instead of into the inbox?

also, how do you change between outgoing addresses? ie. to make it seem like its coming from nick instead of sally?

thanks

Here is how you would accomplish this with Outlook 2000. I can't say for sure that this will work with 97 or not, but you may get lucky. If not, you may have an incentive to get Outlook 2000 to do everything you would like to do.

To have your mail filtered, use the Rules Wizard in the Tools menu. You will create one rule for each account. The wizard will take you through a series of screens to define how the rule will work and when.

- The first screen will ask for a type of rule - check the box next to Check Messages When They Arrive. Click Next.

- The second screen will ask Which Conditions Do You Want To Check, check the box next to When Received Through The Specified Account. When the box is checked, click on the underlined word Specified in the Rule Description window in the lower portion of the Wizard window. You will be prompted to select the account that you want to apply this rule to. The remaining wizard steps will allow you to specify what to do with the message when these conditions are met. Repeat this for the second account and you should be all set.

As for sending an e-mail from a specific account, create a new mail message like you normally do. When you are ready to send it, click on File and Send Using and then the account you wish to send it from. Note: this is only necessary if you want to send a message from an account other than the default. This is set up and can be changed from the Tools menu using the Accounts option.

Hope this helps.
