My incoming messages are being timestamped 4 hours off the correct time by Outlook Express. Anyway to fix this?

I know on the Mac version of Outlook Express, it asks you to set the timezone on initial startup.

I don't know what version of OE you are using, but check and see if there is anything to set your timezone in OE (not in the operating system).

My guess is that it is under options (in tools menu), but I was unable to find a timezone setting. has this always been a problem or did it just happen?

not really.

Check your time clock and it's settings. Usually the GMT Offset is wrong and that is what is causing the difference.

Why not really? OE shouldn't even have this problem, it's possible the server is getting it and it's set to a different time than what it should be.

Working in technical support, i see this problem about 10 times a day. Everyone assumes its the mail server wrong. 10 times out of 10 it's client side. 9 times out of 10, it's and incorrect GMT offset in the Operating System time properties. 1 time out of 10, its and incorrect system/BIOS clock.

OE operates off of the system clock. all incoming messages are timed according to the bios. reset the bios/system/desktop clock then you'll be fine
