So, on my father-in law's laptop, he uses Outlook express for his email.
For some reason, ONE email in particular makes OE stop responding.
He can re-launch the program, then look at any other emails, send messages, etc., but then the second he clicks on this one email, it locks up.
Now, it's not any kind of spam, it's from somebody he knows that has already sent him other emails from the same address.
He has an anti-virus installed, so I think he'd be ok.
We tried selecting messages around it, and "shift" selecting it with the other messages to try and delete it, but it stops responding.
It happens the second it is selected at all.
He can't even delete the backup email files from outside of Outlook... This is simply baffling.
Is there any way to get rid of EVERYTHING having to do with Outlook, and then re-installing it?
Any clues to what might be the problem?
