When I write (for an example) to 'JohnDoe@domain.com' using Outlook Express, and sent, the email will bounce back saying "Mail Undeliverable", and the ".com" disappears. The receiver, thus is John Doe, does receives the email, but does not have the ".com" to reply. It only involves one person in my office network. Other people can hit the reply button to me. Any idea what's going on?

Work computer is a Windows 2000 Pro. Outlook Express 6
John Doe's computer is Windows ME. Microsoft Outlook 2002

Hmmm... that's the strangest thing ever. I've never had any problems with Outlook Express and I've been using it for couple years now.

Maybe you have a virus or something? I really have no idea... I hope you find out what's wrong with it though.

Good luck!

mail undeliverable, but not really? sounds like a problem with the mail servers... but then again why would it be just that guy? what happens when you send email to a group of people? does he still have that problem?

gopunk:

Yep... it's just THAT guy. For example I send out the same email to 20 of my
employees, in one email... THAT guy... would have that problem... We both
has been updating Norton Anti-Virus -- doesn't detect anything. Help would
be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Did you double check your address book and make sure his name is not associated with Name@Company (sans the dot com)? I've never seen anything like that happen before.

The email is correct... 'JohnDoe@domain.com' --- HAS the ".com" thing. When I send it... the ".com" disappears in the "Sent Item" folder.
