How the @#$% do you erase newsgroup messages in Outlook Express? I have it set up to mark messages read very quickly, and to purge messages, but the dang things never seem to go away. I have about 30,000 messages in one group, and it takes about 30-45 seconds just to shut the program down. The next time I call up OE, the messages are back.

Help, please!!!
 
im not at my comp, but ive gotten rid of them on both outlook express and outlook 2000... there is some type of option in the newsgroups setting where you can clear all of the messages,, sorry i didnt help much :frown:
 
Never mind; I found it.

You have to right-click on the group itself and go to Properties.

I can breathe now...
