As the title says. If I choose export, it leads me to the two choices of where to send. Can I not just copy & paste it to my other partition for backup? Where are they? Same with favorites, cookies & address book?
I used to have a post about how to save MS identities & repaste them in but cant find it now and search couldn't either.

Any links or suggestions?

Hi,

If you just want to copy the directory structures and file contents for your OE Identities to another partition, you can locate the storage location for the current Identity by opening OE, going to the Tools menu and selecting Options, selecting the Maintenance tab, and clicking on the Store Folder button. (You can also change the storage location from there if you wish. And that makes it possible to assign the storage folders your own names instead of the alphanumerics-within-curly-brackets names they have by default. There are security issues involved, but those may not apply to you.) If you've defined more than one Identity, you should (normally) find them all hanging out in the same area of the directory structure. Note that each profile on your system will have its own set of Identities.

As to where Favorites, Cookies and Address Book are, well that depends on your OS and how it's configured. You can find them by searching for Favorites, Cookies, and *.WAB, respectively. If you have multiple profiles set up, you'll find multiple instances of all of these entities. The WAB files are named after users.

Hope this is helpful.

Regards,
Jim
