Will emails that were created in Windows XP using Outlook Express work in Windows 7? What program would I need to use? What would I need to do to get them working?

you can install mail from vista on win7 with trickery. but mail is no longer supported in 7 - go buy a copy of outlook or thunderbird (Free) or install mail from vista.

microsoft banished OGA if that means anything to you.

I may use Thunderbird since it is similar to Outlook. Isn't Outlook included in Microsoft Office?

What is OGA?

Office Genuine Advantage - nagware for office installations that lack unique serial keys :D
Live Mail is decent, I'd go with Thunderbird

I think live mail shall be able to use mail files saved in that outlook express message format (*.msg), if that is what you are saying

Yes that is what I am saying. But I thought the files saved in Outlook Express format was .dbx?

So Thunderbird will have no problems importing those messages?
