i have multiple email addresses fowarded to 1 account. when i reply to different emails, they all show the same reply email address. is there a way to have outlook use the sent to address of an email as the reply address?

to clarify, right now i have email addresses:

1@xyz.com
2@xyz.com
3@xyz.com

all sent to a 1 main account. right now outlook will use 1 reply email address for any email i send out. i want it so that when i reply to an email originally sent to 1@xyz.com outlook will use 1@xyz.com as the reply, and for an email
sent to 2@xyz.com outlook will use 2@xyz.com as the reply, etc

If you create an account for each of them in Outlook (don't have Outlook check them for emails though), I think you can select those email addresses when you reply. That's how I have my Thunderbird set up.

this is what i do now. i was hoping there is a way to automate it.

it'd be nice if i could just hit reply to all emails, and the reply email address will be automatically the address the email was originally sent to.

is there no add-on that does this? i've been searching but unable to find

Outlook 2003 does this.

how do you set it up?

AFAIK it is automatic in Outlook 2003. I used it a while back before I switched to thunderbird, and remember it doing this for me without any intervention on my part.

anyone know of a add-in or tweak or way to do this using the rules wizard?
