Outlook ate all my emails

I normally have 200 or so emails in my in box, so I check my email today and it's empty,none, zero, zilch. Sent items is normal, where'd they go? I notice that compression thing pops up once in a while when closing. Did it compress them and store them somewhere?

Check to see if it archived them. That is most likely what happened.

Do you have Outlook or Outlook Express? And which version?

Outlook Express, newer one, 6.0 I believe.

Now that I think about it I installed Microsoft Works about the same time all my emails dissapeared, any ideas? I really need those emails
