OUTLOOK and missing emails

I sent many emails back and forth from a guy on a deal gone bad. I went back to reference them and I can't find them now. I KNOW I didn't delete them. Could he recall them out of my inbox?

Is this a POP server or an Exchange server?

Were the emails archived perhaps?

yes, the person can if the mail is read or unread

I think you have to be on the same Exchange server for this function to work.

As MrChad mentioned, it sounds like they may have been archived.
